Tweens and Adolescents
Our program focuses on enabling successful occupation in school, home and community. Students work on self-regulation strategies and smart but scattered strategies for learning in conjunction with understanding their sensory processing difficulties.
As appropriate, we incorporate the following methodologies into our treatment model:
Zones of Regulation
Integrated Listening System (iLS)
The Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance and School (CO-OP Approach)
Sensory Processing Strategies
Organizational and Time-Management Strategies
Sensory Processing Disorder is most commonly diagnosed in children, but adults who have not received treatment may encounter difficulty performing routines involved in work, close relationships and recreation. We offer an intensive treatment model of sensory processing input and strategies, using therapeutic programs specifically designed for adults.
